On August 3rd, Werling asked Soarin’Hawk to check on a turkey vulture in Swinney Park. The caller said she saw the bird walking in circles and had a head tic. Other people in the park, when I got there, said they had seen the parents feeding it, and that he was eating. When I approached him, he ran from me, but could not fly. He was extremely feisty and growled a lot!  He was transported to the ICU for evaluation.
