Jacksonville Florida Zoo - 12202016 American Kestrel

Unfortunately this little kestrel was accidently shut in a barn door.  The accident instantly amputated his left phalanges and some of his metacarpals.  He is non-releasable.  We are currently trying to train him to the glove to see if he will make a good education bird.
