Bush Gardens - Virginia

History
Last year Soarin' Hawk took in a Red-tailed Hawk that had one back toe partially missing.  Since hawks only have one toe on each foot facing backward, it was non-releasable since it cannot catch prey. Dan Borrit from the Indianapolis Zoo helped get the word out that this bird needed a home.  We ended up placing her with Busch Gardens in Virginia. They just sent me the link below about Ember.  Enjoy!  I hope to also get a video of her actually flying in their programs.\ Without the dedication of our Soarin' Hawk volunteers and the financial support of many people, we would never be able to have success stories such as this!   A huge thank you to everyone! http://www.wncn.com/story/25331760/busch-gardens-birds-reptiles
