On March 8, 2026, Soarin Hawk volunteers Sharon Partridge and Brian Grubb released a screech owl near Churubusco, IN. Others present at the release were a Soarin Hawk volunteer and a member of the public. The bird successfully flew from the box to a nearby tree.
2/9/2026 - An Eastern Screech Owl was found on the ground, not moving. It was transported to the ICU for treatment and observation.
