History

4/28/2025. SHRR rescue transported a hawk from Wakarusa, Indiana.  It was an American Kestrel (Male) that was not flying. His tongue was pale and blue inside his mouth, and he was unable to fly. After the triage team did a check, x-rays revealed irreparable breaks in his wing, and he was humanely euthanized.
