20250418-Barred Owl-1

*UPDATE* On April 24, 2025, SH volunteers Sharon Partridge and Brian Grubb released a barred owl in Columbia City near where it was found.  Upon exiting the box, the bird seemed disoriented and flew in to a nearby yard. It made several short low-to-the-ground flights and ended up in a meadow where it sat on the ground for about 10 minutes after which it flew into a nearby tree.

4/18/2025 - Barred Owl was transported to ICU with a broken wing for observation and treatment.
