   On March 21st, Soarin’Hawk received a call from a woman who said she had a Turkey Vulture in her yard that was lying down and not flying. She thought it had a broken wing because it was scooting across the yard.

    When we picked up the bird, he was a little lethargic, not offering much resistance when I picked him up.  Upon examination in the ICU the next morning, it was determined that it had been shot. He was humanely euthanized because of the extensive injuries.
