20250318-Great Horned Owl-1-x

  On Tuesday, March 18th, Soarin'Hawk received a call from a gentleman who had a Great Horned Owl in his backyard.  When we got to his house, we were informed that the man had seen the owl on Friday, the 14th behind his shed.  His dog was barking at it.  When he saw the bird again on the 18th behind a tree in his yard, he figured the owl was injured.  We retrieved the owl and took him to ICU where he was found to have a broken wing in the joint, which was non-repairable.  The owl was humanely euthanized.
