20250207-Barred Owl-1-x

On Feb. 7, 2025, SH Volunteer Sharon Partridge rescued a barred owl from a farm outside of Spencerville, IN. The owl was found in the morning on the caller's property tangled up in a fence. The caller could free the bird, but it could not fly. He appears to have damage to his left wing.  He placed the owl in his barn and called for help. Sharon picked up the owl around 12:30 and transported it to SH for triage. Unfortunately, the owl succumbed to its injuries and passed away overnight.
