History

6/29/2024 - This morning Indiana Conservation Officer Jake called Lana saying he rescued a hawk in his yard. The bird appeared unusable to fly and "not normal". I met Jake at the Loves truck stop at I-69 and U.S. 20, then transported the bird for triage. The hawk did not have obvious injuries and was a fledgling. The hawk had a keel of three. It was given a shot of Ivermectin and taken back to Jakes home and released.
