7/6/2024 - Recovery journey going well and is in the ICU rehab pens. 

 

5/4/2024 - Saturday afternoon a caller reported that a dog had been chewing on a baby owl.  This dog must have had some training on being "soft mouthed" because not a single injury was noted on this tiny "stuffed toy".  

 

Once in the carrier and on the way to Soarin' Hawk, this fellow was very vocal for the entire 1 hour ride.

Having been okayed physically, this 66-gram puff ball ate 17 grams of mouse and is ready for rapid growth and lots of feathers.
