20230827-Red-Tailed Hawk-2-X

08/29/2023-The bird succumbed to injuries and was humanely euthanized. 

Brian Grubb and I responded to a rescue call at 7:15pm. We located a mature redtail in a yard near the intersection of Hathaway and Johnson Rds. He flew in between a few trees but stayed low. We were able to capture him from a low branch.  We noted blood on the underside of his rt wing. Rescuer Sharon P.
