08/29/2023 - The bird succumbed to injuries and passed away.

On August 27, 2023 one of Ron’s sons found a juvenile Red Tailed Hawk near a farm lane. The bird was found about two hundred yards from a road. They covered the hawk with a laundry basket, weighted down with bricks. After attempts to contact other rescues Ron was able to find Soarin’ Hawk. I transported the hawk to our I.C.U. During X-rays a broken ulna on the left wing was found. Ron, and his family are very interested in this bird. Ron’s wife is involved with the local school and would like to arrange a release, if it is possible.
