Yesterday Georgia noticed a Barred Owl in her back yard. The bird could not fly but did flap the wings. Georgia called several sources before finding Soarin’ Hawk and Lana’s phone numbers. Upon my arrival the owl was in the same area and tried to hide, when I approached. It was not difficult to catch and never left the ground. The owl was transported to Soarin’ Hawk for triage.  --Rescuers Louie and Lana Lee
