20230517-Eastern Screech Owl-1

Today Soarin" Hawk received a call from Rita in Mongo. Rita, and her husband had found a young Screech Owl in their yard. The bird appeared to be too young to be out of the nest. It had diarrhea and feathers were found about fifty  feet from where the fledgling was found, as if it were attacked. A nest site could not be found. A keel score of about 2.5 was noted. The owl was transported to ICU for triage.
