20230515-Great Horned Owl-1

A Forest River employee found a great-horned owl on the ground next to some RVs at 8am on Monday, 5/15. The owl had a drooping left wing and was unable to fly. The employee collected the owl and placed him in a wooden crate until I could transfer him to a box for transport. The owl seemed alert but I noticed he had rather small talons and was not terribly strong.      X-rays showed a fracure of the left humerus mid-shaft. A wing wrap was applied and pain meds were given
