History

This afternoon Soarin; Hawk received a call from Tiffany at the Pigeon River Fish & Wildlife office, in Mongo, IN. A family had dropped off a Red-Tailed Hawk that was found in their yard. They said the hawk had been near their house for a couple of days and they had fed it. Tiffany contacted us and I transported the bird to our I.C.U. for triage.  Upon intial examination hawk was found to have a fracture of the left ulna and does not need surgery. A body wrap was applied and the appropriated meds and fluids given.
