20220814-Cooper's Hawk-1

This afternoon Emanual found a Coopers Hawk on the grounds of Trine University Angola, IN. The bird could only fly a short distance and was easily captured. Emanual contacted Soarin' Hawk and I met a group of students at the Trine Ice Center. The hawk appeared to have a head injury and Emanual told me he thought the wing may be broken.I was met at our ICU by Kim W. for triage. The bird did not have visible injuries other than blood in the eyes. An intake card was completed. Photo supplied by Emanual.
