History

A family was driving home from the Columbus zoo when they saw an owl on the side of the road. They knew they couldn’t leave it there; so they stopped to try and pick him up. He was easily approached and they were able to contain him. The owl sat with a blanket around him for an hour and a half before arriving at Soarin’ Hawk where he was treated.  The owl had a head tilt, leaning to right side, blood in mouth, and swelling in both ears. It is currently in our ICU being treated.
