20210910-Great Horned Owl-1

This juvenile owl was picked up in Roanoke on a resident's property. He had been on the ground for quite some time. He was taken to our facility for initial exam. The bird was found to be very thin, dehydrated and covered in flat flies.  There were no significant wounds or fractures found. He will be monitored daily in our ICU unit.
