On August 1st a Indiana Conservation Officer was notified of a Red Tailed Hawk lying along US 20 near CR 650 W. Upon my arrival the ICO and the Metz fire chief had contained the bird. It appeared to have been hit by a vehicle and was very feisty. The hawk was transported to Soarin' Hawk ICU for triage. No photos were taken. 08/02/21 No serious injuries, just being treated for pain and being held for observation
