History

Our rescue phone received a call about a Coopers Hawk that had hit a window . It was by Park Center in Fort Wayne, IN. Our volunteer picked up this young hawk and brought it to our facility to be triaged. Its initially examination revealed a small amout of blood in its mouth and it was very lethargic. Coopers hawks are very high energy birds. It quickly recovered and was moved to an outside rehabilitation pen so it could be observed in a larger area.
