Took a call to go to Portland on mothers day, in the pouring rain to rescue a downed bird. When i arrived, it turned out to me a small Turkey Vulture, wet and very unresponsive. Talked with the folks about our facility, procedure and next steps. I handed out our brochures and took the bird to ICU.   When I arrived Barb H. was there to do triage on the bird with Nicole. After examination by Maraiah the other day it was determined the bird had no discernible injury. .   As always we want to see these guys return to nature. Thoughts and prayers to you little guy. 05/16/21 this vulture has been moved to a flight pen . this will give us the opportunity to evaluate its flight. No injuries were found on this bird's initial evaluation
