20210327-Eastern Screech Owl-1

The caller to our rescue line was driving home from Michigan when this screech owl flew into her driver's side window. She stopped and picked it up and took it home with her to Elkhart. One of our volunteers picked it up the next day and brought to our treatment facility. It had laid an egg overnight. No obvious injuries but we kept the bird for observation. Our hopes are to get it back to its nest as soon as possible.
