20201119-Eastern Screech Owl-1

On the night of November 18th, 2020, Jeanne found an Eastern Screech Owl lying on the ground below her window. We were contacted and I rescued the bird. Upon arriving at N. 400 W. Angola, Jeanne had the owl contained in a cardboard box. The more I disturbed the bird, the more active it became. I could not find obvious injuries. It had a keel score of 3+. Photos were taken and the owl transported to Soarin' Hawk I.C.U. 11/21/2020 This owl appears very healthy just stunned. We have moved it to our rehabilitation pens so we can observe its flight and hopefully it will be released soon
