20180303-Barred Owl

Soarin' Hawk got a call from a man who saw a barred owl sitting in the middle of the road at 600 W. and 900 N. in Wawaka, IN.  He approached it and the bird hopped a few feet and did not fly away.  He picked it up and took it to his house and put it in a cardboard box and called us around 6:00 a.m.  Upon retrieval by two of our volunteers, they could not find anything obviously wrong with it, besides it being a little lethargic.  The bird was brought to Dr. Funnell for further assessment.
