History

This Red Tail Hawk was found in Fulton County.  All of his tail feathers were broken, but no other obvious injuries were found.  We will have to wait until his tail feathers regrow to release him. 03/28/17 We are still waiting for his tail feathers to regrow.  He flies very well in the flight pen and is anxious to leave!  Unfortunately it can take a year or more for him to replace the feathers. 05/29/2017 He is finally replacing his tail feathers!  Today we found 7 new tail feathers coming in!  WE are keeping our fingers crossed that he does not break them again before we can release him! 07/20/2017 This bird is finally close to being released!
