20151218-Barred Owl

Update on Barred Owl: we have found no apparent reason why this barred owl was found on the ground and easily picked up by the people who found it.  Perhaps it was hit by a car and just dazed.  Although we found no evidence he was hit by a car, bruises are easily missed under all those feathers!  So he will spend Christmas with Soarin' Hawk.   If he is eating well and continues to act normal, we will begin creance flying him after the holidays.
